I’m an Austin-based artist painting from my home studio in North Austin, where I live with my husband, our daughter, and our four dogs, who inevitably find their way into both my studio and my inspiration.

Painting actually started as a simple Saturday tradition with my mom. We began painting together just for fun, but I quickly fell in love with the peace and joy I found in creating something with my own hands. Painting became a way for me to slow down, notice the little things, and put my own version of how I see the world onto canvas.

I work primarily in oil and watercolor, painting animals, pet portraits, florals, and anything with a little character and history. I’m especially drawn to vintage details, beautiful old things, the imperfect shapes of flowers, and the expressions that make every animal completely its own.

Whether I’m painting an original piece or someone’s beloved pet, I want my work to feel personal, warm, and timeless. More than anything, I hope my paintings bring a little of the same joy into someone’s home that creating them brings to me.
